A day in Jersey

We arrived in St Malo at 6.30 am and boarded on the ferry. The crossing was smooth and sunny.

We arrived at Elizabeth Harbour Terminal at 8.30 am (local time !) and waited for the coach.

We took the coach to St Lawrence.

In St Lawrence, we visited the Jersey War Tunnels. These tunnels were constructed during the German Occupation of the Channel Islands which began in 1940.

After the visit, we went to St Hélier and had our picnic in Howard Davis park.

In the afternoon, we discovered St Hélier, exchanged with local people (in English of course !) and filled in our questionnaire.

After a free time for shopping and relaxing with our friends, we walked back to Elizabeth Harbour Terminal and went back to France. Bye Jersey !
